This two story office complex replaced an existing office occupied by the owner for over 110 years. Petter Supply, a major regional distribution company was rapidly outgrowing it's headquarters in the downtown area. To compliment the new 150,000 sf distribution center, a new state of the art "electronic" office facility was needed. The new office and Steelcase showroom is phase one of the office complex masterplan. The open plan office format supports the owner's team management concept and allows rapid modifications to accept team management concept and allows rapid modifications to accept team re-organization when necessary. Each diagonal pod provides space for a team of 9 individuals assembled for specialized sales for river transportation and industrial supply. |
