Kentucky Department for
Library and Archives

This three story 160,000 sf facility provides Administrative offices for the State Library and Archives Commission. The reading rooms house the State's original Constitution and rare State Government Documents for public assemblies and exhibitions related to the history of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The massive volume of the upper level houses state records required by law and manages these records for public access on a prescribed retention schedule. The facility has a sophisticated humidity control system to preserve the sensitive paper documents.
